Course Synopsis
1. Understanding Addiction in Alcohol and Binge Drinking
The course provides learners with an understanding of binge drinking and how this behaviour can impact health, emotions, and the ability to function in important areas of life. Learners will be able to spot the signs of people in their care who may have issues with alcohol. Additionally, this course imparts the knowledge, self-awareness, and skills to support people who are involved in binge drinking.2. Understanding Eating Disorders
The course provides learners with an understanding of eating disorders and how this type of mental health issue can impact health, emotions, and the ability to function in important areas of life. Learners will be able to spot the signs of people in their care who may have issues with food. Additionally, this course imparts the knowledge, self-awareness, and skills to support people living with an eating disorder.
3. Understanding Pornography & Sex Addiction
This course equips learners with a general understanding of pornography (porn) and sex addiction, and how this compulsive behaviour is a mental health condition that can impact the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of individuals.
4. Understanding Addiction to Internet and Gaming
Embark on a transformative journey with our program, ’Understanding Addiction in Alcohol and Binge Drinking’ as it sheds light on the profound impact of this behaviour on health, emotions, and crucial aspects of life. This is a bundled course which consist of 4 courses mentioned above. Please note that they are online self-paced asynchronous courses delivered via the Gnowbe platform. Learners will be granted one month of access.

About WE CARE
WE CARE Community Services Limited is the first non-denominational outpatient addiction treatment centre in Singapore. WE CARE offer counselling and programmes for all forms of addictions including drug, alcohol, gambling, sex, eating disorder, internet and shop-lifting. WE CARE also run a community-based drop-in centre for the recovering individuals to connect with other recovering persons. Within this safe and non-judgemental environment, their clients are able to work on their recovery.
