About this course

The Healthy Eating and Physical Activity course discusses the negative impacts of excessive screen time on children, and shares the Ministry of Health's and Health Promotion Board's guidelines on that. Learners will learn how to set up parental control on screen time set-up, how to build healthy meals, why good quality sleep is important and also understand the appropriate amount and intensity of physical activities for children.

  • Demonstrate how to set up parental control on screen time setup.
  • Explain what makes up a healthy plate and advise HPB's recommendations on the servings per food group.
