About this course
This introductory course is designed for any persons keen to build a basic understanding of Parkinson's Disease (PD), and also for new caregivers looking to support or take care of their loved ones in the early stages of PD.

Note: There are different types of PD. The course content will focus on the symptoms and conditions surrounding Idiopathic Parkinson's. Idiopathic Parkinson's is the most common type of PD, where the cause is often unknown.

This course is developed by the PD multidisciplinary team from Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), consisting of movement disorders specialists, nurses and allied health professionals, with contribution from Parkinson’s Society Singapore (PSS).
